Point Lobos State Natural Reserve

Point Lobos State Natural Reserve (PLSNR) is a great educational resource for students, providing a natural outdoor classroom. The Reserve offers youth the opportunity to experience the biological diversity of the natural environment and to learn the principles of conservation.

We offer two types of in-person field trips for the 2023-2024 school year. Visits can be scheduled M-F from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. If the times below do not correlate with your desired arrival time, please reach out to School Walk Coordinator Melissa Gobell at 831-625-1470.

The Point Lobos Foundation funds transportation grants for 4th grade Title One schools in Monterey County to visit Point Lobos State Natural Reserve.
